This game will certainly be the Seahawks game to lose. They are hungry after the heartbreaking eleventh hour Superbowl loss to New England in February and their focus in the off-season and the first couple of OTAs (Organized Team Activities) of this season reveal it. The offense will be led, of course, by Quarter Back Russell Wilson. Main backup QB is still out as an unlimited free agent so B.J. Daniels and R.J. Archer are receiving snaps throughout mini-training camps and OTAs. One of the big offending changes is at the Tight End position, where Jimmy Graham has set up shop. He was acquired in a trade with the New Orleans Saints. The other big change is in the offensive line. The Seahawks lost starting Center Max Unger in the Jimmy Graham trade with the Saints. Six year veteran Center Lemuel Jeanpierre will certainly replace Unger. They also lost experienced Guard James Carpenter to the New york city Jets but have a number of draft chooses to pick from to fill that hole.
Head Coach Pete Carroll hired a new Defensive Coordinator, Kris Richard and the Seattle defense is looking fierce. Tackle Alvin Bailey reported for responsibility at least 30 pounds slimmer and really in shape. The Rams protective line is looking very strong. Defensive Ends Chris Long and Robert Quinn compliment the defense nicely. Linebacker Akeem Ayeers changed Jo-Lonn Dunbar and is definitely one to view. The Secondary is strong and Special Teams didn’t see a lot of modification.
